Refund and Returns Policy

We understand that there may be instances where you may need to return or exchange a product or request a refund. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds will be processed.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
We strive to ensure that all our products are of the highest quality. However, we understand that there might be situations where you may need to return an item. You are eligible for a return or refund under the following conditions:
1.1 Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, you are entitled to a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving the product. Please contact our customer service team at care@makeinagro.com as soon as possible, providing us with details of the issue.
1.2 Incorrect Items
If you received an incorrect item (different from what you ordered), you can return the product and request a refund or exchange. Please notify us within 7 days of receiving the wrong item.
1.3 Product Does Not Meet Expectations
We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations. However, for hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on products like essential oils, oils, or opened dry fruits unless there is a genuine issue such as damage or defect.
2. Non-Eligible Returns & Refunds
While we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction, there are certain conditions where we cannot accept returns or process refunds. These include:
2.1 Opened or Used Products
Once the product has been opened or used (including essential oils, oils, or dry fruits), it cannot be returned unless it is defective or damaged.
2.2 Late Returns
Returns made after the 7-day window from the date of delivery will not be processed. We encourage you to inspect your order as soon as it arrives to ensure everything is in perfect condition.
2.3 Clearance or Sale Items
Items that are on clearance or are part of a final sale are not eligible for returns or refunds.
2.4 Products Not Purchased from Make in Agro
This policy applies only to products purchased directly from Make in Agro. If you purchased a product through a third-party retailer or reseller, please refer to their return and refund policy.
3. How to Return an Item
If your product qualifies for a return, please follow the process outlined below to initiate a return.
3.1 Contact Customer Service
To start the return process, please contact our customer service team at care@makeinagro.com. Be sure to include the following details:
- Your order number
- Product(s) to be returned
- Reason for return
- Photos of the damaged or incorrect product (if applicable)
3.2 Return Authorization
Once we receive your return request, our team will review it. If your return is eligible, we will issue you a Return Authorization (RA) number and provide instructions on how to return the product.
3.3 Packaging the Product
Before sending the product back, please ensure it is in its original packaging with all the tags, labels, and manuals intact. The product should be in the same condition as it was when you received it, and it should not show signs of use or damage.
3.4 Shipping the Return
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the product, unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or incorrect item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to return the product, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

3.5 Processing the Return

4. Refunds
If your return is approved, we will initiate the refund process. The refund will be issued to the original payment method you used to make the purchase.
4.1 Refund Processing Time
Refunds typically take 7-10 business days to process after we receive the returned product. Please note that the time it takes for the refund to reflect in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.
4.2 Partial Refunds
In some cases, we may issue a partial refund. This could be due to:
- Products returned in a condition other than their original state
- Restocking fees (if applicable)
- Shipping fees (if you are returning the product for reasons other than defects or incorrect items)
4.3 Refund Method
Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment (credit/debit card, UPI, wallet, etc.). If you paid using a gift card or store credit, the refund will be issued in the form of store credit.
5. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for products that are defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped. If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the order. Our team will guide you through the exchange process.
5.1 Shipping Costs for Exchanges
If you are exchanging an item due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect product or defective product), we will cover the cost of return shipping. If you are exchanging for personal preference, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
6. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they are shipped. Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may follow the return procedure after receiving the product.
6.1 Cancellations Before Shipping
If you wish to cancel an order before it ships, please email us at care@makeinagro.com with the subject line “Order Cancellation” along with your order number. We will confirm whether the cancellation request can be processed.
6.2 Cancellations After Shipping
If your order has already been shipped, you may follow the regular return process once the product arrives. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable.
7. Shipping Charges
Please be aware that shipping charges are non-refundable unless you are returning an item due to a defect, damage, or shipping error.
7.1 Return Shipping Fees
If the return is due to an issue with the product (e.g., damage, defect, or wrong item), Make in Agro will cover the return shipping costs. In other cases (e.g., change of mind or preference), you will be responsible for the return shipping charges.
7.2 Original Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return is due to a mistake on our part.
